I have been looking for ways to improve my French coming up to the exams that await me, specially my listening and reading skills. My grammar needs some work as well, but I find picking up the correct forms is the easiest when it's in an actual real life situation.

In all my research I have managed to forget about two obvious ways of improving French online.

The fist one is signing up to a newsletter with About.com. Laura K. Lawless who runs the newsletter will deliver an interesting message straight to your mailbox every now and then, with a bunch of new words and some reading material as well as with insights to the French language and culture in general. It's easy and effortless.

The second way is to watching news on France24 online. Again, it's free and easy and a half an hour of watching news a day not only will keep you updated but it will make it easier for you to get accustomed to listening to French and to the speed, too.

Easy trick, why didn't I think of this before?
