I saw this ad on TV few weeks back and I couldn't figure out why I was so uncomfortable watching it. I don't think I would mind having a cute polar bear in my freezer. So why is it so creepy?

Then E. made me realise: The polar bears voice is Willem Dafoe - who I adore as an actor and so I can't believe that I didn't figure it out on my own. The man can make you want to run for your life just by smiling in a particular way.

It's like having Green Goblin in your freezer. Or worse yet:

Now I know why I didn't *really* want a polar bear in my freezer.
